The City of Howe is soliciting qualification proposals from interested persons and/or firms for the provision of services of an Accountant and Financial Consultant to provide Interim Staff Support and prepare a working trial balance. Persons and/or firms interested in assisting the City with the provision of such services must prepare and submit their qualification proposal to the City of Howe. The City may review proposals in the time and manner it chooses upon receipt of such a proposal (in the sole judgment of the City). The City intends to select a person(s) and/or firm(s) that (a) possesses the professional, financial and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services, and (b) will agree to work under the compensation terms and conditions determined by the City to provide the greatest benefit to the taxpayers of the City of Howe. The City reserves the right to enter into negotiations with any party at any time and the City is not required to wait for additional proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to re-advertise for new proposals or proceed as otherwise in the best interests of the City. The City may or may not enter into an agreement resulting from this request. If the City determines other methods are in its best interest, the City may pursue other avenues.
