ATTENTION: The water bill payment is due on the 10th of the month. If the 10th falls on the weekend, the payment is still due. Payments received in the night deposit box on the next business day AFTER the 10th, by 8:00 a.m. are considered on time. Also, credit or debit phone payments made BEFORE 8:00 a.m. on the next business day after the 10th are also considered on time. If a payment is mailed, received after the 10th, and postmarked by the 10th, the customer receives credit for late charges.

Weekly pick up FRIDAY 7:00 am

Bulk Trash

Second Friday of Month 7 a.m.

The City offers curbside pickup. Items for bulk should be placed on the curb by 7 a.m. Bulk items include mattresses, furniture, stoves, hot water heaters, or similar items. NO items with Freon will be accepted unless a certificate of removal from a certified HVAC tech is attached. Brush should be tied in bundles of no more than 45 lbs. and less than 4 ft . in length. We do not accept tires, batteries, chemicals, fertilizer, propane tanks, concrete, bricks, rocks, paint, or construction materials.

Customers must be set up through our website http://www.cityofhowe.org with information from their water bill.

NOTICE to eBill / ePay Users
eBills are the paperless way to receive and pay your utility bills online and thus eliminate costly paper bills sent through the U.S. mail. You have the option sign up or not. Once signed up for eBills (paperless billing) you will no longer receive paper bills sent via regular mail.

If you wish to pay online, you are required to sign up for eBills (or ePay). Your regular paper bills will then no longer be sent in the U.S. mail. You have the option of viewing and/or paying your bill online. You do NOT have to pay it online. If you wish to receive paper bills via the US Mail AND sign-up for eBills/ePay, you must call the City Hall and request continuation of paper bills via the US Mail.
